
Sana Foods’ occupational safety and health department holds training seminars for the company’s employees
Sana Foods Food Industries S.A.E’s Occupational Safety and Health Department led by department Head, held a series of training seminars for the company’s employees, the first of which began in November.
The training sessions were designed to ensure that all workers understand occupational safety and health rules and that they do not suffer or harmed at work. It defined occupational safety and health, highlighted the company’s most important policies, and defined danger and risk in accordance with Labor Law No. 12 of 2003.
It also explained the importance of work permit systems, risk assessment, personal protective tasks, and the definition of fire risks, as well as how to select the most appropriate extinguisher for the type of fire, using examples and models.
In addition to providing practical training for trainees on how to use a fire extinguisher, manual material handling, and ladder safety.
This was done in accordance with Sana Foods’ keeness to protect the environment, the safety of its employees, and to provide a safe work environment free of accidents.
